AUGIS love ring in 18K yellow gold bearing the inscription “more than yesterday less than tomorrow” set with two synthetic rubies and an 8x8 cut diamond, signed A.AUGIS.
The inscription “More than yesterday
and less than tomorrow” is taken from the Parisian poem by Rosemand Gérard, written in 1890 for her husband:
“For you see, each day I love you more, today more than yesterday and much less than tomorrow.”
It was the Lyon jeweler Alphonse Augis who had the idea of adapting this verse into jewelry.
