Pair Of Flat Wig Balls
A rare pair of blown glass wig balls dating from around 1900, with a flat shape, which is quite unusual. The decoration, applied as decals on a bluish-green background, is identical in composition but differs between the two balls in the poses of the figures and cats. One depicts a warlike scene with armed soldiers and cats in an aggressive pose. The other ball symbolizes peace with merchants and playful cats. Good overall condition. Each measures 25 cm in diameter and 7 cm in height.
