A very beautiful 18th century Regency cartel clock and console, entirely in marquetry of brass and tortoiseshell, the whole enhanced with superb gilt bronzes, surmounted by Fame also in bronze, very fine marquetry work of great finesse, movement signed Nicolas Pfluoger in Solothurn, with three superimposed bells and 4 hammers, indicating with different chimes the hour, half hour and quarter hour, also equipped with a pull-out hour reminder, the whole in perfect condition.
