"Napoleon III Medicine Cabinet"
It can be hung or placed on a surface… it has a pediment framed by blackened wooden spindles, it has revealed four compartments since its creation, it proudly displays its hidden lock on the side, which firmly holds its key… It is a 19th-century medicine box, magnificent and proudly bearing the scars of time… Its repoussé copper cherub lost a wing in some battle or other. Then a hinge on a column shows its bruises, perhaps from the same battle… Nevertheless, this lovely little piece of furniture will serve for another 100, 200, 300 years, who knows?
