Gilt Bronze Chandelier, Decorated With Eagle Heads, Crystal Drops, Empire Style, 19th Century.

A very beautiful gilt bronze chandelier. This chandelier has four lights – three arms and one in the center – and is light gold in color (some photos have been slightly darkened to better show the crystal drops). The bronze chasing is of very high quality, as evidenced by the fine work on the eagle heads that support the lights. The crystal drops are made of crystal. A removable ring with Baccarat crystal drops has been added to the central light (unfortunately, these are not in perfect condition, with chips and some broken and repaired drops). Made in the second half of the 19th century. Note: this chandelier is in good overall condition. The wiring will need to be updated to meet the current standards of the country in question. The large crystal cup at the top of the chandelier could be slightly straighter; there is a very slight twist on one of the arms. Please examine the photos carefully.
