"Louis XVI Console"
Rectangular Louis XVI console table, late 18th century. Resting on four tapered and fluted legs, adorned with gilt bronze mounts. The apron opens with a drawer in the front, decorated with an elegant geometric veneer and fillets, with the original keyhole escutcheon. The piece features a stretcher shelf (lower shelf) inlaid with a lozenge pattern, adding lightness and refinement. The whole is surmounted by a white veined marble top with straight edges, well fitted to the structure. Veneer and marquetry in amaranth, mahogany and lemonwood, offering an elegant contrast typical of the neoclassical taste.
