Early specimen, 21.5 mm socket diameter, for the 1829 artillery carbine or the Saint-Cyr Military Academy carbine. One-piece brass grip, fluted with 15 strands, round and domed push button. Unengraved yataghan blade with a flat back, clearly marked at the base of the blade on one side and the letter F on the other. Blade in near-mint condition. Steel scabbard marked 12 F.
Good condition. Blade length 57.5 cm, overall length 71.4 cm.
