Louis Majorelle Art Nouveau Library "ginkgo Biloba"
A substantial, molded and carved solid walnut bookcase decorated with ginkgo biloba motifs. It features four doors and a niche. The doors are compartmentalized and adorned with decorative ironwork, highlighting iridescent mauve glass panels. It rests on a large molded base. The niche and sides are paneled in burr walnut. All the glass panes are beveled, the shelves are adjustable in height, and the locks and keys are gilt bronze. Superb quality of cabinetmaking, beautiful patina, and in perfect original condition!
