Louis XVI Period Bergère Chair By J. Avisse
A Louis XVI period bergère chair in natural waxed beechwood, stamped by Jean Avisse, who became a Master craftsman in 1745. It features a gendarme's hat-shaped back, tapered legs, fluted and reeded at the front. Traditional upholstery includes a double-sided cushion in a soft green fabric, all in very good condition. There is a reinforced seat rail. The seat height is 45 cm.
