Knight's Star of the Order of the Reunion, First Empire. Chips to the white enamel at the points. Blue enamel intact. Gold rooster hallmark (1809-1819) on the ring. Later ribbon. The Imperial Order of the Reunion was created by Napoleon I on October 18, 1811, replacing the Order of the Union created by Louis Bonaparte, King of Holland. During the Second Restoration, Louis XVIII ordered the return of the insignia and patents for destruction, which explains their rarity. Dimensions: 58 x 37 mm. Weight: 20 grams.
