Set of 3 Langeais earthenware tobacco jars, circa 1862, with platinum-enhanced decoration. 1- Pair of tobacco jars with tin-rimmed lids. Creamy white combed body imitating a tree trunk with platinum highlights. Decoration of grape bunches in the round and vine leaves. Good overall condition. Minor wear: one finial reattached, a small section of the lid reattached, some glaze missing from the base of one jar. Discreet Masonic mark on the base: 3 dots arranged in a triangle. Marked CB underneath for Charles de Boissimon. Height: 17 cm, Diameter: 11.5 cm. 2- Tobacco jar with a finial in the shape of a twisted branch. Creamy white combed body imitating a tree trunk with platinum highlights. Decoration of pear branches and pears in the round. Good overall condition. Very slight wear: edge of the lid. Height: 13 cm, Diameter: 11 cm.
