Moustier 18th Century, Olerys Factory. Plate Decorated With Grotesques
Here is a piece very similar in decoration to the previously presented dish, also produced by the Joseph Olerys factory, with a similar polychrome grotesque motif (the main group is found on both pieces), decorated with the same virtuosity. Signed with the factory's well-known monogram, it also bears the signature of the painter Jean François Richieux, who entered its service in 1739. A small chip, as is often the case, otherwise in very good condition. Note the old collector's label on the back.
