A Louis XVI style display cabinet, late 19th century, in mahogany and gilt bronze. Signed on the back: “Furniture, fantasy furniture. The sons of Alfred Wimphen. 25 rue du Faubourg Saint-Antoine, Paris.” Beautifully ornamented with finely chased gilt bronze mounts. Spanish brocatelle marble top. The cabinet is in very good condition with its original key.
