Gallé: Baluster-shaped Vase Decorated With Oak Leaves And Acorns
Gallé Vase. Baluster-shaped vase in multi-layered glass with acid-etched decoration. The decoration consists of oak leaves and acorns in green and brown on a white background tinged with pink. This vase can be dated to between 1904 and 1910 as it is signed with a star. This small star, which glassmakers would etch near the signature, indicates the disappearance of Gallé.
