Important silver-plated flatware set by Christofle, circa 1935. "Atlas" pattern designed by Luc Lanel. It was designed to adorn the first-class dining room table of the ocean liner "Normandie". Iconic model of Christofle Art Deco production. It includes: 12 table knives, 12 table forks, 12 table spoons, 12 dessert knives, 12 dessert forks, 12 dessert spoons, 12 fish knives, 12 fish forks, 12 coffee spoons, 12 cake forks, 12 oyster forks, 5 serving pieces. 137 All pieces bear the hallmark of the Christofle silversmith. Elegant monogram GM or MG on the flatware, except for the knives and six teaspoons. Sold in its original wooden box (restoration consistent with age and use). Dimensions: 50 x 34 x 32 cm. Good condition (minor marks due to age and use).
