Bronze sculpture depicting a climber. White Carrara marble base with the inscription "Sulla tecchia della cava" (On the quarry's tecchia). The tecchia is the overhanging part of the Carrara marble quarry. Made in Italy in the first half of the 20th century. Total dimensions: 45 cm high, 13 cm long, and 12 cm deep. Figure dimensions only: 26 cm high, 13 cm wide, and 6 cm deep.
