An 18-karat champagne gold ring (a shade between yellow and rose gold), openwork and set with six brilliant-cut diamonds and three synthetic rubies.
Synthetic rubies, first produced in the early 20th century using the Verneuil process, experienced a surge in popularity during the Art Deco period. Their vibrant color and purity made them a highly prized material for jewelers. In the 1920s and 1930s, they were widely used to create geometric patterns emblematic of the Art Deco style.
