Important bronze and marble mantel clock set.
Cast by SUSSE.
19th century.
The clock is surmounted by a sculpture of a seated Sappho, signed and also bearing the double signature of the caster SUSSE.
It rests on a base with rounded, fluted ends. Signed movement.
Spectacular pair of candelabra, depicting putti holding a bouquet of six lights. Dimensions:
Clock: H: 48 cm W: 52 cm D: 18 cm. Candelabra: H: 65 cm.
In very good used condition and presented as is, without restoration, mechanics untested: as shown in the photos.
Due to the weight of this item, a carrier will be needed for delivery.
