Louis XVI Style Marquetry Bouillotte Table
A round bouillotte table, veneered in rosewood, mahogany, and marquetry. It opens in the frieze with two drawers and two leather-covered pull-out slides with gilt vignettes. The frieze is inlaid with a stylized laurel wreath design. Small bronze sabots adorn the feet. The white Carrara marble top, veined with gray, is encircled by an openwork bronze gallery. In good condition, French polished. Work from the first third of the 20th century.
