A 19th-century Savoyard cream pot from the Aix-les-Bains region, a large lead-bearing earthenware container in which milk is left to rest to thicken into cream, which is generally collected with a creaming spoon. In good overall condition, with some cracks, a wide, bulbous body, a handle on one side and a small grip on the opposite side.
