It bears the Evolution mark.
Length: 17.6 cm
Height: 8 cm
It is in very good condition; I can only point out a small chip in the glaze at the base, barely visible.
Evolution and La Stèle were two groups of artists that Goldscheider exhibited at the 1925 Exposition des Arts Décoratifs in Paris.
Among these artists were Edouard Cazaux, Marcel Bouraine, Raloul Lamourdedieu, Alexandre Kelety, Fanny Rozet, and Pierre Blanc.
We can quote here a passage from the excellent book by Alain René Hardy and Bruno Giardy on crackle glaze:
"Like Etling, Arthur Goldscheider was initially a publisher of bronze sculptures (created by members of "La Stèle") before expanding, under the influence of his artists, to the production of all kinds of art objects published under the banner of the "Evolution" group: bronzes Inlaid metalwork (PL Mergier) and ceramic pieces and vases, including numerous sculptures, primarily in slightly polychrome crackleware, the models for which, often created by the sculptors of La Stèle, were frequently produced by Édouard Cazaux, and sometimes by René Gonse."
I don't know the artist of this rabbit, but he is certainly undeniably talented.
