Eames Coffee Table, "elliptical Table" Model
Large coffee table by Charles and Ray Eames, designed in the 1950s. This table is emblematic of Eames' work; its shape evokes a comet's ellipse and is also compared to a surfboard. The legs are chromed metal and the top is black laminate. This is a Vitra edition (label under the tabletop).
