Antique love letter case with polychrome decoration depicting a gallant scene. Louis XVI period, late 18th century. Cylindrical in shape and domed at the ends, it is made of wood lacquered with Martin varnish and mounted in chased solid silver. 14 cm long / 2.2 cm in diameter. Very good condition for its age. Very minimal signs of wear.
