A very interesting set of 53 issues of the journal "Cahiers de la Céramique et des Arts du Feu" (Ceramics and Fire Arts Notebooks). This journal was founded by the Friends of the National Ceramics Museum in Sèvres and was published quarterly between 1955 and 1977. The complete collection comprises 59 issues, to which several supplements were added. We are offering this set of 53 issues, noting that issues 1, 3, 4, 5, 9, and 27 are missing. All the issues in this set are in perfect condition, some still retaining their original band before opening. Each issue consists of double sheets held together by a blue cord. The covers are illustrated with pasted-in color vignettes. Each issue had a print run of between 3,000 and 4,000 copies and was embellished with black and white and color illustrations, some of which were pasted in like the cover.
