On the left, in the main photograph, the woman, in her brightly colored dress, holds aloft in her left arm a "cornucopia" torch equipped with a five-light gilded metal candlestick. Her face is made up, she wears pink slippers, and she stands on a polychrome tripod base. Dimensions: 185 x 48 cm. On the right, the man, in his gilded dress, holds aloft the same "cornucopia" torch, but this one is equipped with a nine-light carved and gilded wooden candlestick. His face is smiling, he wears gilded slippers, and he also stands on a tripod base. Dimensions: 177 x 48 cm. A beautiful and rare pair of Nubian figures in polychrome carved wood, in very good original condition, dating from the late 19th century. Equipped with electricity.
