Mount Vesuvius: A Pair Of 19th-century Neapolitan Gouache Paintings
Pair of 19th-century Neapolitan gouaches: "Volcano of Naples". Gouache alone: 44 x 67 cm (sight size). (One has a tear, small scratches, and minor paint loss.) The back of the frames indicates that "these frames were purchased in Naples in 1853" by a family member who was traveling in the city at the time. Both pieces are framed and under glass.
