A Boulle marquetry desk inkwell. Decorated with acanthus leaves and brass vegetal motifs on a red tortoiseshell ground. Richly ornamented with bronze mounts featuring Egyptian heads, female masks, and foliate friezes. With its two crystal inkwells. Louis XIV style, Napoleon III period. Restored and revarnished by my cabinetmaker.
