Albert Genta.
Albert Genta was a French painter specializing in nudes, born on September 13, 1901, in the 12th arrondissement of Paris and died on September 5, 1989, in the 20th arrondissement of Paris.
He was the quintessential painter of the female nude, in his own works as well as in illustration and the press. In March 1941, he exhibited a nude entitled "Sleeping Woman" at the Salon des Indépendants.
He is also the author of numerous books, such as "Drawing Taught by Example." (1949).
His works have been offered at public auction 158 times, mostly in the Painting category.
His works are primarily sold in France.
