A very beautiful violin-shaped bed in mahogany veneer and marquetry. Gilt bronze ornamentation with rocaille motifs and sphinx heads. The photograph of the assembled bed was taken outdoors in sunny weather. French work from the late 19th century, circa 1880. Note: this bed is in good overall condition. Slight sun damage on the right side of the small post. One wheel will need to be reattached. Some verdigris on the bronze. We have the eight lag bolts. Cleaning could be refined. Please examine the photos carefully.
