Bronze pitcher with a gilt patina, dated 1892, with the engraved inscription "Roger Sandoz," edition limited to 20 copies, number 11. Medalist, sculptor, decorator. SAUR XVIII 268. Born in Paris on January 10, 1856, and died in Neuilly-sur-Seine on March 3, 1909. He debuted at the Salon in 1874, exhibiting medals, and achieved his first success there in 1883. He played an important role in the emergence of Art Nouveau.
