"Grimaldi" Model, Vermeil Handle. This model is one of the company's iconic designs. It is listed in David Allan's book: "French Tableware and Cutlery of the 19th Century." Blades fully restored by a silversmith. Chrome-plated blades. Minimal signs of wear. Minerva hallmark, 1st standard, for the handle (950/1000). Silversmith's mark of Edouard Corvasier (1863-1880), Parisian cutler and subcontractor for Odiot. Original blades marked "ODIOT" in chrome-plated steel (stainless steel). Price for 2 knives. 21.5 cm, approximately 55 g each.
