Conical vase with a narrow neck in iridescent blue "Favrile" glass decorated with stylized peacock feathers.
Signed under the base "LC Tiffany".
Favrile glass was invented by Louis Comfort Tiffany in 1894: it is an opalescent and iridescent glass, obtained by adding metallic oxides directly to the glass during the blowing process, giving it shimmering reflections and a unique texture.
An expert's certificate issued by Ms. Nelly Fouchet, expert with the CEA (Compagnie des Experts en Art & Antiquités), will be provided for all purchases made at the gallery.
