"Empire Style Bathtub Made Out Of Massive Carrara Marble. Ca.1825"
A beautiful, freestanding , Carrara marble bathtub, carved out of a single block. Made around the second Empire period (1804-1815). In very good original condition. It stood for many years in a chateau in the south of France. The interior has a carved sitting-step and the front is carved with two big rings. This bathtub is nicely aged by time and use and in excellent condition.
