Small and rare leaflet circa 1830 entitled COSTUMES OF DIFFERENT PEOPLES, published in Paris by Marcilly, 10 rue St Jacques. It contains 24 accordion-folded vignettes depicting couples – men and women – from various European countries. The last four are an Indian couple and an American couple. Closed: 6 x 4.5 cm, unfolded: 97 cm, with a very small tear between the first and second figures.
