Small Marquetry Half-moon Shaped Cabinet, Late 18th Century
A charming small, half-moon shaped cabinet in fruitwood, dating from the Directoire period. It opens with a door inlaid with a bouquet of flowers. The front and sides are framed with rows of gilt bronze beads. The tapered legs terminate in bronze sabots. The top is made of molded Aleppo breccia marble. Late 18th or early 19th century. Some minor restorations but in very good overall condition. Oak interior.
