"Art Nouveau Bronze Desk/bedside Lamp, Circa 1900"
A charming Art Nouveau desk or bedside lamp, dating from around 1900, crafted from finely openwork patinated bronze. The stem, adorned with stylized plant motifs, follows a flowing line characteristic of the naturalistic aesthetic of the Belle Époque. It is topped with a blown and painted glass shade decorated with polychrome scrolls. The lamp features an articulated arm, allowing the light to be directed as needed, as well as an adjustable tilt.
