" Rococo School (c. 1780) - Flute Concerto For Two Lovers"
Oil on canvas. Original canvas. An exquisite and gallant scene from the late 18th century, where a flautist accompanies the amorous conversation of two lovers with his sweet melodies, against a backdrop of peaceful, bucolic nature. The delicate wood of the instrument, a favorite of Baroque composers for evoking pastoral and amorous sentiments, and whose echo can almost be heard in Mozart, frames a passage worthy of an opera of the period, from "La ci darem la mano" to the intimate encounter that the Countess proposes to the libertine Almaviva in the letter she writes to Susanna in the "Canzonetta sull'Aria." Dimensions of the image without frame: 25 x 34 cm / 40 x 49 cm with a magnificent Baroque-inspired frame.
