"Paris Porcelain Egg Service, Circa 1800"
A service from the Duke of Angoulême's factory on rue de Bondy in Paris, circa 1800. Hexagonal in shape, it comprises six egg cups and one salt cellar, very finely hand-decorated with bouquets of small flowers, each unique, with gilt friezes and garlands, all in perfect condition. Diameter 23.5 cm. Height of the egg cups 7 cm. Bibliography: Tardy "Les Porcelaines françaises"
