Chinese Vase In The Famille Verte Style Mounted As A Lamp
Lamp formed from a lidless ginger jar, white background decorated with birds perched on a quince tree, peonies, and butterflies, in the famille verte style. Beautiful enamel relief, and a Louis XVI style gilt bronze mount. Early 20th-century work, rewired, comes with an antique sand-colored lampshade. Diameter of the base: 17.5 cm, of the vase: 20 cm, height of the vase alone with its mount: 29 cm.
