Vintage Triple Calendar Chronograph Wristwatch – Valjoux 72,
c.1940s–50s
A fine vintage gents triple calendar chronograph, circa 1940s–50s, housed in a well-preserved 35mm stainless steel case. The watch remains unpolished, maintaining its original character and proportions.
The two-tone light gold and Black dial retains its original finish, featuring:
• 30-minute counter at 3 o’clock
• 12-hour counter at 6 o’clock
• Continuous seconds at 9 o’clock
• Day and month aperture (English)
• Outer blue date track with red painted date pointer hand
Overall condition is good, with attractive even aging across the dial.
At its heart is the legendary hand-wound Valjoux 72 movement, running strongly, keeping excellent time, and with all functions operating correctly.
