A rare set of two pairs of gloves sold at Au Bon Marché in Paris between the late 19th century and the early 1900s. They are in perfect condition, having never been worn, as evidenced by the clasp connecting the gloves and the original tissue paper still protecting them. One pair is a size 6.5 and the other a size 7, both fastening with three mother-of-pearl buttons. They are made of kidskin. One pair is marked "Le gant Baretta, chevreau de 1er qualité du Bon Marché (size 7)" followed by the number 450, while the other is marked "Au Bon Marché Paris" and "chevreau de 1er qualité" followed by the number 295.
