Set of eight chairs, model no. 4, by Thonet, in Paris in 1880/1890. This model was made for the Café Daum in Vienna in 1849. The frame is made of blackened bent beechwood. The chair is perfectly stable and the seat is taut. The Thonet stamp is present under the seat, repeated three times inside the seat rail. The most luxurious model from the Thonet company, displayed at the Musée d'Orsay in Paris.
