A richly crafted piece with a Bérain-style carved decoration around the frame and an openwork pediment featuring a basket of flowers and a palmette at the top.
The original gilding is bright and shiny, and the glass is mercury glass.
There are some repairs to the wood and two small losses that have been filled and restored with patina.
Early 18th century.
