An imposing black panther in motion, commonly attributed to the Italian sculptor Salvatore Melani. It is made of reinforced plaster, patinated black, and rests on a walnut base. Once placed on a piece of furniture, it is impossible to tell at first glance that it is plaster. The patina is stunning. Its large size makes it a very beautiful decorative object.
