René Lalique (1860-1945). Antelopes. Molded and partially frosted blown glass vase. Model created on November 2, 1925, and not produced after 1951. Ground glass rim. René Jules Lalique became famous for his stunning creations of jewelry, then perfume bottles, vases, chandeliers, clocks, and, at the end of his life, car radiator caps. The company he founded is still in operation. His name remains synonymous with creativity and quality, as he always knew how to design sumptuous yet understated objects.
