Empire Style Mahogany Side Table, Late 19th Century
A mahogany Empire-style pedestal table from the late 19th century, its tripod base joined by a spiral stretcher decorated in the center with a small gilt-bronze cassolette. The feet are ringed with gilt bronze. The apron is adorned with numerous gilt-bronze mounts and features a drawer entirely assembled with dovetail joints. The marble top is bordered by a chased bronze band and a substantial wooden molding. This pedestal table is in perfect condition.
