Giltwood Mirror With Parcloses - 18th Century
An 18th-century giltwood mirror with a frame. Original mercury mirrors showing some signs of age. The pediment is delicately carved with garlands of cone-shaped flowers intertwined with vine tendrils and bunches of grapes, surmounted by a graceful Louis XVI-style wave. A very pretty mirror with a charming botanical motif. Some minor damage and wear; the glass is cloudy in places, consistent with age. Dimensions: 83 x 46 cm
