A monastic apothecary jar decorated in blue monochrome. This small jar would have been found in the apothecary of a monastery or hospital attached to a convent, judging by the Franciscan emblem on the handle: a cross surrounded by the arm of Christ and the arm of Saint Francis covered by the sleeve of his habit.
Marseille, 18th century.
Height: 26 cm
