19th Century Mirror, 196 X 140 Cm

The Antique Mirror Workshop offers for sale a 19th-century mirror inspired by the Louis XV style. It features very high-quality gold leaf gilding and a beautiful patina that reveals the red underside. The exquisite carving is of incomparable quality, with its imposing shell pediment and delicate scrolls and volutes. The pediment alone measures 38cm, the molding 11cm, and two beautiful acanthus leaves at the base. The mirror is silver nitrate-tinted and in very good condition. It has a period parquet backing. Height: 1.96m, Width: 1.40m. Ideal for placing on a piece of furniture or mantelpiece. In perfect condition, restored in our workshop. Free delivery is provided by us: December 7th, Tours; January 20th-23rd, Caen, Rouen, Paris and surrounding area; January 25th-February 3rd, Luxembourg. Delivery throughout France and Europe is handled by our carrier. Regular delivery is available to Italy and England. Alternatively, the mirror can be collected from our workshop located in Martigné-Ferchaud, near Rennes.
