Decanter created by Baccarat for Camus Cognac. Originally designed in 1883 for the President of the French Republic.
Silver-plated metal rim. Blown, molded, and beveled crystal.
Blown, molded, and beveled crystal stopper with the same design, and silver-plated metal.
Reproduction produced in 1979 in a limited edition of 10,000.
Height: 10.98". Height without stopper: 8.66". Diameter: 4.52". Capacity: 70 cl (23.66 US fl oz).
Weight: 1.485 kg.
Decanter stamped with the Baccarat circular mark. Stopper stamped, dated 1979 and numbered 8721. Hallmarks on the stopper and decanter.
This decanter comes from the collection of a Baccarat factory employee. It has therefore never been filled.
There are a few scratches on the silver metal set (see last photo).
